Outreach Pastor Position
Stephens Valley Church is seeking a Pastor of Outreach to enthusiastically partner with its congregation to grow this multigenerational bellwether Reformed church in the suburbs of southwest Nashville, Tennessee. An ideal candidate must embrace the Biblical doctrines of grace as summarized in the Westminster Confession of Faith and its Catechisms, eagerly desire to proclaim the Gospel, and have a heart for outreach that's centered in the recruitment of new members and families to the Church. The successful candidate should display a self motivation to organize faith-based community fellowships, support church-wide family gatherings and events, as well as demonstrate a disposition to effectively expound the Scriptures through regular participation in weekly liturgy and preaching. The Outreach Pastor will work in close partnership with the Senior Pastor and a comprehensive ministerial staff to fulfill our vision of loving the church and the thriving village developments bordering the historic Natchez Trace and Harpeth River Valley, Nashville Tennessee.

Stephens Valley Church is an independent, Reformed church in its sixth year, located in one of the fastest growing metropolitan areas of Nashville, Tennessee. We welcome the candidate and his family who earnestly desire to partner with SVC and embrace a vision comprised of a growing multi-generational congregation that is excited to worship and serve our God. SVC is governed by a ruling Council consisting of the Senior Pastor and Elders.
Job Qualifications:
Masters of Divinity or Doctorate (theological or ministry in focus) earned from an accredited seminary college. Ordination or anticipating ordination within an evangelical church, preferably within a Reformed church body and/or denomination whose basis of theology originates within the Westminster Confession and associated Catechisms. Candidate must be a person of high integrity, fully supportive of a presbytery/council form of church government.
