Saint Andrews Presbyterian Church in Raleigh, NC, is seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and dedicated Children's Ministry Director to lead our vibrant program.

About SAPC:
Saint Andrews Presbyterian Church is a warm and welcoming community of eight hundred members dedicated to sharing the love of Christ with all generations. We believe that the spiritual growth of our children is paramount, teaching them to know God, love God, and live as disciples of Jesus Christ. With a thriving community of one hundred children from preschool to sixth grade, our church is dedicated to providing a nurturing, fun, and biblical educational environment where kids can grow in their faith and build lasting friendships.

The Position:
Title: Children's Ministry Lead
Reports To: SAPC Children's Committee and Senior Pastor
Location: Saint Andrews Presbyterian Church, Raleigh, NC
Type: Part Time – 12- 30 hours/week

Key Responsibilities:
 Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate curriculum, and activities for children from pre-school to sixth grade.
o Sunday Morning Worship Engagement - which involves both providing a children's message during the service and then leading the kids, after that message, to a separate space for a "Hands-On-Worship" experience which engages the worship theme of the day.
o Special Events - The development of seasonal special events (a Christmas event, a summer Vacation Bible School, etc.).
o Education Engagements - We provide seasonal 'Sunday School" (12 weeks in the spring, 12 weeks in the fall). Volunteers teach, but guidance is needed.
o Fellowship Engagements - Monthly activities around fellowship or service are provided for older elementary children.
 Lead and inspire a team of volunteers to create a safe, fun, and spiritually enriching environment.
 Build strong relationships with children, parents, and the wider church community.
 Manage administrative tasks related to the children's ministry, including scheduling, communication, and budget oversight.

Qualifications:
 A strong, personal faith in Jesus Christ.
 A love for working with children.
 Experience in children's ministry, education, or related field.
 Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
 Creative and energetic approach to ministry.
 Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and volunteers.
 A commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive environment for all children.
 Must pass a background check.
