Due to the declining health and upcoming retirement of our current pastor of over 20 years, the Warsaw Christian Church is searching for a new minister to lead our congregation into the future.
Warsaw is the county seat of Benton County in central Missouri. The population of the area is approximately 10,000 with our city being a little over 2,000. The main demographic runs toward retired or semi-retired. Located on the Truman Dam end of the Lake of the Ozarks means this is a family oriented tourist industry area.
The Warsaw Christian Church is a member of the Disciple Heritage Fellowship, adhering to the doctrine of the Trinity and absolute Lordship of Jesus Christ. The church is over 175 years old and the building is on the historic register of the area. Our services are traditional with an organ, piano and hymns sung from a hymnal.
The position of pastor requires approximately 3 days per week in addition to Sunday. Both our previous and current pastors are retired from their full time job and so have supplemental incomes through retirement of Social Security.
Please feel free to contact me for further information. Send a resume, with certifications to be considered for this position.
